Description
by Mary Sue Kuhn
For beginners as well as experienced tatters. Contains a history of tatting, followed by an illustrated ‘how-to tat’ section and beginners projects which can be used to embellish clothing as well as paper stationary. More involved projects include dimensional flowers for use in making a bridal bouquet and a table cover, star shapes, a cross inside a round border, and a snowflake. The final chapter is devoted to using alternative materials, such as jute and tapestry yarn, to create one-of-a-kind wall hangings and ornaments.
